FOOD SERVICE WORKER (20 hrs/week)

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:           

1. High School diploma or equivalent

 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Knowledge of food service operations
2. Training in sanitation and food handling safety

 

REPORTS TO:  Food Service Manager and Director of Operations

 

JOB GOAL: To serve the students attractive and nutritious meals in an atmosphere of efficiency, cleanliness, and friendliness

 

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBLITIES:

1. Assists in maintaining a high standard of nutrition for all students
2. Works as a team member with staff at assigned school
3. Operates necessary equipment in an efficient, safest, and fastest way at maximum capacity
4. Assists in preparing, cooking, and serving the meals at the assigned school
5. Follows established sanitation procedures
6. Assists with student money, meal accountability, and necessary paperwork as may be required by the Food Service Manager and/or Food Service Director
7. Responsible for the washing and sanitizing of food service utensils
8. Performs such other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Food Service Manager and/or Food Service Director
